MEJ Releases Year-End Microbusiness Legislative Review

Sidney, NY — The MicroEnterprise Journal today announced the publication of its first annual legislative review of microbusiness policy.

The 17-page report, entitled 2003: The Year in Microbusiness Policy, examines the activities of the House and Senate Small Business Committees during the first session of the 108th Congress, and offers legislative status reports on issues ranging from health care insurance to remote sales taxes.

"This is a fitting way to bring in the new year, by taking a look at where we are and what still needs to be done," says MicroEnterprise Journal editor Dawn Rivers Baker. "Too often, legislators get credit for introducing bills that wind up being swallowed by the black hole of procedure and politics, and voters should be informed if they don't follow through."

The report is being distributed free of charge as an Adobe Acrobat® PDF document from The MicroEnterprise Journal web site at www.microenterprisejournal.com.
