Call For Entries: The 3rd Annual Brighid's Fire Books/LughnassadhBooks.com Fiction Manuscript Is Poised For Launch

Sidney, NY — It's getting to be about that time again, when Brighid's Fire Books and LughnassadhBooks.com is asking aspiring novelists to dust off those manuscripts and send them in.

The 2003 contest was a complete success and the editor of Brighid's Fire Books is working to release the winning manuscript, entitled The Dragon's Lair, a science fiction character study by first time novelist Lisa Guilfoil. "This contest is proving to be a great opportunity to find the best stories to bring to the reading public," enthuses Dawn Rivers Baker, owner and editor of Brighid's Fire Books.

Hopeful writers are invited to visit the Brighid's Fire Books web site at http://www.brighidsfirebooks.com/contest.html for complete details and entry form. The entry fee is $25.

Contest entries will be accepted from March 1st through June 30th. Ten finalists will be name on or before October 1, 2003 and the grand prize winner will be announced on New Years Day 2005. First prize is a publishing contract with Wahmpreneur Publishing, Inc. (the parent company of Brighid's Fire Books), which will include a $1,000 cash advance and a spot on the Brighid's Fire Books Fall 2005 list. Second place and third place prizes will also be awarded $250 and $125, respectively.
