Phoenix Author To Appear on NPR Radio Show

WSKG FM's "Off The Page" plays host to fantasy author Dawn Rivers Baker

Sidney, NY -- Sidney-based author and businesswoman Dawn Rivers Baker is scheduled to appear on the WSKG FM radio program Off The Page at 1:00 p.m. on February 25, 2003.

Ms. Baker is the author of The Rise of The Phoenix (ISBN 0-9713278-1-5), published by Brighid's Fire Books. The novel has been well-received by critics, with Inscriptions calling it "a joy to read" and the Midwest Book Review referring to it as "a transcendent and splendor-filled work of high fantasy." The Rise of The Phoenix is Ms. Baker's first novel.

WSKG FM is the Binghamton, NY-based affiliate of National Public Radio, and Off The Page is one of its locally produced programs. Says program host Tom Milligan of Ms. Baker's novel, "I think it would make for an interesting conversation."
